This may not seem like much at first glance — but it’s the start of a ripple effect. One of our early access teens shared this photo with me: his mum and dad sponsored him $40 to take part in the Good Habits Challenge.
That small action represents something bigger — a community stepping up to reward and incentivise teens for actively creating their own health.
The momentum is already building. The Gold Coast City Council has included the Good Habits Challenge in its upcoming school holiday Active & Healthy program, distributing cards across more than 350 providers.
But this is just the beginning. Our mission is bold: to get a habit card into the hands of 1.5 million teens nationally by the end of 2027. Why? Because we believe every teen deserves the tools to build good habits, avoid destructive ones, and protect their potential from being stolen by bad choices.
We’re calling on the community to join us. Together, we can spark a movement that rewards health, inspires action, and transforms lives.
🍟 Are Fast Food Chains Serving Us More Than We Bargained For? 🍔
Behind the shiny menus and mouth-watering ads, there’s a hidden reality: many fast food meals are loaded with dozens of artificial chemicals — sometimes 50 or more in a single meal.
These aren’t just salt and sugar. We’re talking about:
• Flavor enhancers
• Artificial colors
• Preservatives
• Texture agents
• Synthetic fats
Why so many? Because processed food needs to look, taste, and feel addictive, survive long supply chains, and stay cheap. But here’s the catch:
These chemicals don’t just pass through harmlessly. Studies suggest that ultra-processed foods may disrupt hunger signals, gut health, and even mood and behavior. Over time, they can lead to overeating, cravings, inflammation, and chronic health problems — essentially positioning people to stay hooked and sick.
